Stress is the biggest cause behind our mental issues. It stops us from taking actions and kills our confidence. What is the root cause behind stress? Is it the work we do? Is it our lack of good habits?
No, the biggest cause of stress is our want for more things. We always feel we don’t have enough in life. We don’t have enough attention from the people we love, we don’t have enough material things to look successful in front of others.
Practice wanting nothing in life by reminding yourself that everything that gives you true happiness comes for free like a walk in nature is free, spending time with people who actually care about you is free, working with the intention of improving skills rather than wanting something is free.
Once you practice dropping all your wants, you stop caring about people who don’t give you attention, you start enjoying work more and your happiness goes up making you master your stress, inspiring you to take actions without unnecessary wants in life.
